Tahiti (Moorea) - Day 2 (2/15/24)

Amazing sunrise and headed to Restaurant Le Sunset at Hotel Hibiscus down the road. They have a great continental breakfast setup. We had fresh jams, croissants, fruit, eggs, hashbrowns and chocolate banana bread.

Drove to hike up Magic Mountain. Incredible hike straight up the mountain that overlooks both Opunohu Bay and the west side of the island. Breathtaking views everywhere…especially at the top!

At the bottom of the mountain we enjoyed fresh jam samples, amazing smoothies + lots of water.

After snorkeling at the hotel and a shower we got picked up for our ATV tour with Moorea Activities Center. INCREDIBLE Tour where we drove through the pineapple fields, up to the Belvedere Lookout, and ended at the top of Magic Mountain! Uhina was the best guide and this was a top highlight for us on our trip!

With a recommendation from Uhina, we went to Tama Hau Opunohu’s Bay for dinner. We had amazing fried mahi mahi and green beans! They literally just opened up that night from the wet season. LUCKY!

Wrapped the day with drinks at Holy Steak House and some wine on the beach!
