Tahiti (Moorea) - Day 1 (2/14/24)

Started the day in Papeete and dragged our bags through the busy streets to Kaua’a Tahiti. It’s a cafe and roaster where we had awesome coffee + breakfast!

Caught the ferry to Moorea, rented car at Hertz (Samy gave great recommendations) and drove to our hotel at Moorea Sunset Beach!

Took boat across to Coco Beach Moorea. We had Poisson Cru + a the Fish Sando! Amazing food, drinks and location! Explored after lunch and saw sting rays and a baby reef shark along the beach. Pretty rocky from all the coral so we recommend bringing Tivas and your snorkel gear.

Dinner at Toatea at the Hilton. Amazing crepes & we were lucky to catch a live Tahitian dance performance. Bring your bug spray!
