Day 5: The Reef

1: We woke up to the singing parakeets in the trees and had a super fresh bfast! We get to dive THE Reef today. Packed up our Padi Dive cards, snorkel/mask & gopro and headed to the Marina w/ Calypso Reef Tours!

2: On the GBR we had a great time with Tropical Journeys/Calypso Reef Cruises and befriended a fellow Cali/Oregonian Padi Instructor, Nick. On our way to our dive sites we had some dolphin visitors!  

3: We dove 3 sites in the Agincourt Reefs, and had an amazing experience. We saw such beautiful coral, fish and several sharks! We rewarded ourselves with a couple beers for our way back home. 

3: We headed into town and had an AAAAmazing dinner at Watergate in downtown Port Douglas. We had yellow fin, crocodile spring rolls, cuttlefish & pork belly tapas...and incredibly crafted cocktails!
