Day 2 - Eating and Drinking our way through Melbourne
Woke up, worked out and headed out for the the day. We decided to explore Harvest Lane for our breakfast spot. We found Trim and it was a fantastic choice. They had amazing food, great coffee and a very European cafe atmosphere. (meal shown: Corn fritters with fresh salsa, advocado, feta & balsamic)
We walked a couple miles over to the South Melbourne Market. This is a very busy market where you can get your nails done, buy organic fruits/veggies, get kangaroo bones for the dog, buy as much meat & cheese your heart can imagine, and get a couple Watermelon tequila coolers!
Headed back to the hotel for a nap, massage and then off to dinner! Darren found an awesome Greek restaurant close to our hotel called Melina. We had Greek style tapas on the roof top!
Off to Black Pearl which is known for its array of creative custom cocktails. We had the Cairo & The Stirrup!
Last stop of the day was to Eau De Vie. It was really easy to find since there was no signage and down a super dark alley way! Incredibly original drink menu, and their cocktails were fantastic!
